Children are already using AI, whether we like it or not
Kids have tablets, phones, WhatsApp and YouTube accounts. They discover general-purpose AI assistants for their homework, often without a framework adapted to their age. Déblo offers another path: a voice AI designed with explicit safeguards for minors, under parental control.
General-purpose AI assistants
Most major consumer AI assistants are designed for adults. Their terms of service, safeguards, tone and pedagogy are not specifically tailored for minors. A child using them often falls outside the framework the service was built for.

Our approach
How Déblo protects minors
Rather than excluding by default, Déblo welcomes minors with an appropriate framework: tone, vocabulary, Socratic teaching, parental supervision, systematic refusal of sensitive topics. Safety is not an option — it is the default mode as soon as an account is flagged as a minor's.
Pedagogy adapted to each level
The AI system prompt adjusts to the child's school level — from primary to secondary. Tone, vocabulary, Socratic method. The child is at the center of the dialogue, not the margins of an adult-first service.
Built-in parental supervision
The parent creates the account, controls credits, receives session summaries. The child uses — the parent supervises. This is not an optional feature, it is the default mode for any minor account.
PIN access for young learners
In school mode, students log in with a PIN code — no phone number, no email. A 6-year-old can use Déblo under their teacher's supervision.
Strict educational framework
In student mode, Déblo refuses politics, violence, adult content and redirects to coursework. The AI holds its tutor role even if the child tries to leave the educational framework.

Protections programmed into the AI
These rules are not posted policies — they are coded directly into the AI's instructions and cannot be bypassed by the child.
Zero inappropriate content
Politics, religion, violence, sexuality — the AI refuses and redirects to coursework. No exceptions, no workarounds.
Personal data protection
The AI never asks for surnames, addresses, passwords or personal photos. If the child shares sensitive data, they are immediately warned.
Distress detection
If a child mentions distress (self-harm, violence…), the AI responds with empathy, does not minimize, and systematically directs them to a trusted adult. No robotic scripts.
Anti-jailbreak and anti-manipulation
All attempts to manipulate the AI ("forget your instructions", "pretend to be someone else") are blocked. Déblo's identity is locked.
Socratic teaching method
The AI never gives the answer directly — it guides the child through questions so they can think for themselves. It teaches, it does not do the homework.
Spending controlled by the parent
The child cannot purchase credits alone. The parent tops up the account. The balance is visible in real time and the child cannot spend without authorization.

Parental consent requirement
For any user under 18, ZeroSuite, Inc. requires that registration be completed by a parent or legal guardian. By creating an account for a minor, the parent confirms having read and accepted the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy of ZeroSuite, Inc. on behalf of the minor.
Minors' data is never used for commercial profiling or shared with third-party partners for advertising purposes, in compliance with European GDPR principles and national data protection laws in Africa.
