The other person installs nothing, creates no account and pays nothing.

Every situation has its own path
At a distance: a link, sent over WhatsApp or e-mail
You create the call in one tap and send a short link, for example deblo.ai/duo/k7m4qx. The other person opens it, picks their language and joins from their browser. Each side hears only the other's translation.
An optional 4 to 6-digit PIN that you read out to the other person.
An expiry of your choice: 1 hour, 24 hours or 7 days.
A single-use link: once opened, nobody else can join.
Face to face: one phone or two
The driver in Tokyo, the receptionist in Madrid, the doctor in Istanbul: they are right in front of you. On your phone alone, you take turns speaking. If they prefer their own, they scan a QR code and join from their browser, with nothing to install. Each person speaks while holding a button, so that one phone does not pick up the other person's voice.
No account needed: a free trial, right on deblo.ai/duo.
I am presenting: one room, several languages
You speak, from the app or on deblo.ai/duo. The room scans a QR code and everyone listens to the translation in their own language, from their browser, with no account or app. Before you start, you see how many listeners are waiting in each language.
Numbers, in writing
Every sentence is shown in both languages, with amounts, dates and percentages highlighted. In a negotiation, a number should not rest on hearing alone.
Notes: a lecture, a meeting, your ideas
Record in the app, with pause, or upload an audio file at deblo.ai/duo: up to 2 hours per note. Déblo Duo transcribes it, writes the summary and translates it into the language you choose.
The summary and the full transcript, in the original language or translated in one tap.
Play the recording back, at the speed you choose.
Share it, or export it as PDF, Word, Markdown or plain text.
By use case
Three ways to use Déblo Duo, each explained step by step.
A small firm in Lyon negotiates with a manufacturer in Shenzhen, a German engineering office hosts a client in Dubai, a Spanish distributor chases a supplier in Seoul. The negotiation happens in English, nobody's mother tongue at the table, and that is where the margin is lost: one misunderstood sentence about a deadline, a percentage, a payment term.
A professional interpreter is expensive and must be booked in advance. A translation app cuts the conversation into pieces. The colleague who "speaks a bit of English" does their best, and their best sets the company's ceiling.
Déblo Duo takes language out of the negotiation. What remains is the product, the price and the relationship.
During the call, an interpreter. After it, a summary.
During the call, Déblo Duo translates, then stays quiet: it does not chat with you and gives no opinion. After the call, it writes the summary of what was said and agreed, figures included.
Same account and same balance as Déblo: you sign in with your e-mail or phone number on Déblo Duo, in the Déblo app or on deblo.ai, and it is the same account everywhere.
Who it is for
Remote
The exporting executive
They negotiate in their own language, with their own words and all the precision of their mother tongue.
The supplier and the buyer
Volumes, lead times, certifications: answers come directly, with no intermediary summarising.
The founder in front of investors
The founder pitches in German, the San Francisco investor hears it in English. All they did was click a link.
The partner on assignment
Every week with China, India or the United States: each side keeps its language.
Face to face
The traveller and the driver
The address, the fare, the route, each in their own language.
The hotel and the doctor
Symptoms and treatment, understood on both sides.
The airport, the police, public offices
Where a misunderstanding can be costly, each side understands what is being asked.
The landlord and the tenant
The visit, the lease, the deposit: everything is said and everything is understood.
Retail and hospitality
Anywhere people from elsewhere are welcomed every day.
Notes
The student in a lecture hall
The lecture recorded, the summary to revise from, and the lecture translated when it was given in another language.
The team meeting
The decisions, the next steps and the figures, without anyone taking notes.
Your ideas, out loud
A memo dictated while walking, a language exercise, read back later as clean text.
What we have already measured
Déblo Duo runs on Google's real-time voice translation model (Gemini Live Translate), served from Google Cloud.
Translation starts before the speaker has finished the sentence, and ends on average less than three seconds after them.
The direction sets itself: every sentence goes to the other person's language, with no button to switch.
A two-and-a-half-minute team meeting, in spontaneous spoken French, faithfully translated into English, numbers included.
A three-minute-six-second call billed exactly 186 seconds, no more, no less.
A remote call with someone abroad: each side heard only the other's translation.
Pricing
Billed per second of interpretation: … per minute at full price.
This price does not pay for a call: it pays for high-quality real-time translation, both ways, then the full transcript and the end-of-call summary, kept in your history.
Duration
Price
A taxi ride, 5 minutes
…
A supplier call, 20 minutes
…
One hour of negotiation
…
Paid by the second, only while Déblo Duo is translating, from the same balance as the rest of Déblo, topped up by bank card, by in-app purchase on iPhone or, depending on the country, by mobile money. The app shows your balance and the price in your currency. An “I am presenting” room is billed per translation language.
Only the person who creates the call pays. The guest never pays, and waiting time is not billed. A call never starts on an empty balance; after a first top-up, a call in progress can continue on a small overdraft, recovered at the next top-up.
Languages
Open today: English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Turkish and Hindi, in every combination.
Other languages open one by one, each only after it has been tested on real voices.
The app itself is available in 19 languages, with Arabic shown right to left.
Privacy
The conversation is transcribed. The transcript and the call summary are kept in the history of the person who created the call; they are not used for the Déblo assistant's memory. The guest is told before joining. A Notes recording is kept, with its transcript and summary, in the history of the person who created it; the audio is kept as long as the note exists, unless they untick “Keep audio”.
What Déblo Duo is not
Not a regular phone call
The call goes through Déblo, not through the carrier network.
Not an assistant
It does not answer and gives no opinion: during the call, it translates faithfully, and stays quiet.
Where to find Déblo Duo

The Déblo Duo app, on iPhone and Android: being published on the App Store and Google Play.
Built for the whole world.
A Frenchman in Tokyo, a German woman in Dubai, an American in Marrakesh, a Spanish buyer facing a Chinese supplier: people do not lack things to say to each other. What they often lack is a common language.
